License

Data Pipeline offers a choice of two licensing models.  An open source, GPL license and a Commercial license (with a 30-day trial).

Commercial License

You should purchase a commercial Data Pipeline license if any of the following applies to your software:

  • Your software is provided for a fee.
  • Your software serves a business or commercial purpose.
  • Your software promotes a product or service.
  • Your software's license is not compatible with GNU GPL v3.
Open Source License

Data Pipeline is available for license under an open source, GNU GPL v3 license.

You may download and use Data Pipeline under this license if your own software's license is compatible with the GNU GPL v3 license and your source code is available to your users to freely modify for their needs.

Requirements

Data Pipeline requires a Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.5 or higher to run or a Java Development Kit (JDK) 1.5 or higher to compile. You can download the platform-specific packages from Oracle's website.
